Dear Birth Parents,

Words cannot describe the awe we both feel that you are considering this incredibly courageous decision for your child. We truly believe that we have the same goal as you do - to love, protect, take care of your child and give them the very best life has to offer.

We also promise that your baby not only will be loved with every ounce of our beings, but they also will be surrounded by family, friends and a community who will always support and love them unconditionally as much as we will.

We met and married later in life and agreed before we ever started trying to have children that if it did not happen for us, we were both wholeheartedly positive we would want to adopt.

We are very excited about adopting a child and we promise to allow them to live life fully and grow up to be a person who is able to embrace their passions in life.

We have an open and loving home and we make each other laugh all the time. We always are looking for new adventures to do – even if it’s taking a day trip to a nearby town we’ve never visited or checking out a new band or seeing a new exhibit at the museum.

We also live in a really incredible neighborhood in a three-story log cabin surrounded by flowers and trees and great neighbors. Our house is in a top-rated school district and is a wonderful place to raise children.

The town where we live is where Rachel spent her childhood before she graduated from high school, went to college and then moved to New York City to become a journalist and now travels the world, though she works from home – a perfect balance.

Bradford’s mother is from the same area as Rachel’s family, but he grew up in North Carolina and lived different cities in South and North Carolina before moving up North and meeting Rachel a few years later on New Year’s Eve 2001.

Life is good for both of us with steady jobs, lots of friends and close family, good health, but in our hearts we have always wanted to share everything we have with a child.

We wish you well on your courageous journey through adoption. Thank you for considering our family to join you on this journey.

Best wishes,
Rachel and Bradford
